QML Dialog box freezes the application repeatedly on Macbook

I have been trying to find a fix on this but haven't found anything that solves this issue. 

The issue happens to be only happening on Mac Qt and not windows. Every now and then when I open a new dialog box through QML Dialog, it freezes the application. This doesn't seem to be happening every time but 7/10 it will freeze my application or it wont load any data and have a black dialog opening up and a frozen application
