Most control parameters missing in Design mode

The current Qt Quick Designer has very limited usability and cannot be used by itself to design UIs due to missing (not exposed to Properties editor) important control parameters, including but not limited to:

     - Button

        - flat

        - display

        - icon

     - TextInput

        - echoMode

        - inputMethodHints

....

Making it possible to create a usable UI solely in Design mode would increase QT adoption - at the moment I find myself referring to QT documentation all the time for the most mundane tasks such as changing a button's icon.
