    Description

      Many file systems allow for the storage of arbitrary metadata, and it would be be useful if Qt provided an interface which abstracted the complexity associated with this functionality away. For example, NTFS allows for the storage of additional metadata such as thumbnails and comments, which may be useful in the scope of a Qt application.
