In QLineEdit, double click a word doesn't reliably select the word

when the  user double clicks  a word to select it, at first the word DOES select but then the end of the selection moves to the point where the mouse was let up, typically the center of the word.  If you keep trying, eventually you CAN double click to select an entire word but it's very hit-or-miss, mostly miss.
