    Description

      Since upgrading to Qt 5.14 (git branch), I hit this assert in many apps.

      An easy testcase: starting kcharselect and typing 909 (or selecting "Control Pictures" or "Dingbats" in the right combo).

      OpenSUSE doesn't disable bitmap fonts, the only file mentioning "bitmap" in /etc/fonts/conf.d is 10-scale-bitmap-fonts.conf -> /usr/share/fontconfig/conf.avail/10-scale-bitmap-fonts.conf
