In QQC2's Material theme, we can currently select between the Light, Dark and System theme, where the System theme seems to decide between Light and Dark based on the system color palette.

Android Q introduced support for a system wide dark mode, which apps might or might not follow, depending on their preferences. Currently, when I use Material.System on an Android Q device (Pixel 3), it always uses the Light theme, even if I set the system theme to Dark.

It would be great if on Android versions that support it, the Material.System setting would follow the system preferences.
