      Beginnings of such a patch are here: https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtdeclarative/+/272103 but  [Laszlo] has no inspiration to write/adapt another 600 lines of nonsense. (or more since it is a bit more involved than the vulkanunderqml example was)
