When playing back a sound with ALSA, then it will report that it is unable to initialize slave and it will not perform any playback

      When playing back a sound with ALSA, then it will report that it is unable to initialize slave and it will not perform any playback.

      This is not the same as the previous issue on Raspberry Pi 3 as that was to do with it having a buffer underrun which no longer appears to occur.
