qchartview performance

qchartview repaints the chart every time there is an update.  This is not the efficient way to handle a chart with large amount of dynamic data that is generated at very high rate.   The speed slows down significantly when data set gets large.

Even though I am quite sure, it looks like qchartview always redraws the entire chart instead of just the region that is visible.  I might be wrong.
