If you open the attached example i.e. with qmlscene, and start clicking the items in reverse order 9, 8, 7, 6, etc., the animation is not shown every time. Additionally the referenced "ready" script is not executed. If you do it "in order", i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. it works.

If the example window is stretched so that all the numbers are on one row the animations do play correctly even if clicked in reverse order 9, 8, 7, etc..

This renders the use of animations + the notification when it's done unusable.

Qt Support has tested the example.
