Description
- Spot and Area lights don't need to use cubemaps. One shadow map with perspective projection should be enough?
- Directional shadow map camera frustum should be calculated from the scene bounding box if the scene is smaller than the main camera frustum. This allows for sharper directional shadows.
- The object shape shouldn't bleed to the shadows. In the image the holes at the front of the object are somehow shown in the shadow. The teapot top can also been seen darker in the shadow even though the back of teapot should obscure it.
- It also seems that the shadow is darker if the object is further away, which seems backwards?
