      Consider the following code:

          source: "#Rectangle"
          materials: DefaultMaterial {
              diffuseMap: Texture {
                  // Commenting this out breaks things
                  //scaleV: -1
                  tilingModeHorizontal: Texture.Repeat
                  tilingModeVertical: Texture.Repeat
                  sourceItem: Rectangle {
                      id: rectangleItem
                      border.width: 20
                      width: 200
                      height: 200
                  }
              }
          }
          SequentialAnimation {
              running: true
              PauseAnimation {
                  duration: 2000
              }
              ScriptAction {
                  script: rectangleItem.width = 100;
              }
          }
      }
      

       

      When scaleV line is enabled, rendering of Rectangle is broken after 2 seconds. Without it things work OK. (see also QTBUG-83463).
