Stylesheet images have scaling artifacts on Mac

      When we assign a fixed size image to a style sheet on Mac OSX, we get scaling artifacts indicating that the image is stretched.
      The result is a fuzzy image. This can be observed in the current welcome mode in Qt Creator. (1.3)

      We have attached a minimal project to reproduce the issue. Note that this does not occur on other platforms but it does affect all styles on Mac.
