    Description

      Essentially I faced the same problem like described here https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-65519

      But this time it's on Linux.

       

      In short if I set Noto font to QTextEdit then everything works fine. With any other font there is no fallback to Noto and intead of 1 symbol I see 4 (for Family emoji) which is rather unexpected.
