It is possible to show a menu and trigger one of its actions with a mouse press, move, then release in non-Qt applications and in Qt applications before Qt 5.15.0. With Qt 5.15.0 this is not possible anymore: upon the mouse release the highlighted menu action is not triggered. This bug affects the main menu (left mouse button), widget context menu (right mouse button), QSystemTrayIcon context menu (right mouse button). The bug can be reproduced in any Qt application, for example in Main Window Qt Example.
