One issue I saw in static non-prefix builds of qtwayland, when reconfiguring, the qtwayland qml plugins are loaded by find_package(Qt6Qml) before wayland has even finished building / configuring.
That causes configuration failures.
Would have to investigate how to prevent the qtwayland qml plugins from being included, before qtwayland is even configured.
