Emojis in text editor are deformed

    Description

      The text editor displays emojis correctly, but they are rendered deformed, it looks like they are displayed with the italic font style.

      I also tried to switch to other fonts, with the same result, I didn't find any workaround to solve this problem.

      On the screenshot, the default Source Code Pro font was used.
