Checking if a process is running on various platforms

    • I'm working on an application that will run on all platforms including mac, linux and windows.

    • Android, Linux/Other display system, macOS, QNX, VxWorks, Windows

      I would like a multi-platform way of checking if a process is already running and if it is getting it's process id.

      Presently this doesn't appear to be possible.
