Regression: QSplashScreen now flicker on Symbian 5.0 before displaying the application main screen

Under Qt for Symbian, when a QSplashScreen is implemented in the application, the phone native UI appears 1 or 2 seconds between the finish of the QSplashScreen and the display of the application main screen. It gives the impression of an ugly flickering between the splash screen and the application main screen.

The expected behaviour (and previous behaviour in 4.6.1 for us), is the application main screen immediately displayed after the splash screen disappears.
