Description
I tried installing Qt and creating my first application. But I can't even get past creating an initial app because it says there are not appropriate kits installed. As I've not used Qt before I have no idea how to define an appropriate "kit" - whatever that is. If you want people to try this tool you should at least make it default to a mode which can create a simple application, or maybe provide a sensible explanation of why it can't. There are valid compilers on this PC such as Visual Studio. Anyway, I am going to delete Qt, because I'm not prepared to waste time trying to diagnose incomprehensible messages. But can I suggest that you try to make future versions default to doing something useful.
