Qt text edit with prediction: double click to place cursor

      Description
      When text prediction is enabled in Qt virtual keyboard, the user needs to double click/touch to put the text cursor in the middle of the word.
      While we would expect the cursor to be at that position on the first click.

      Environment
      We run the application in the QT Wayland compositor (running against the eglfs platform plugin).

      Test Application and video

      Attached is a video demonstrating the behavior (see CursorIssue.mp4) and a small/simple text edit example app (qtextedit.zip). After building you can run the application with:

       QT_XCB_GL_INTEGRATION=xcb_egl QT_IM_MODULE=qtvirtualkeyboard ./qtextedit --platform xcb
