"Strictly" Fullscreen Application in Mac OS

    Description

      It is currently not possible to create a fullscreen window which fully suppresses the menubar and dock in Mac OS. This can be accomplished by adding a simple Mac-only window attribute. I submitted a patch for this for version 4.4.3 some time ago, and the customer service rep created this ticket:

      which got merged to this ticket in the new system:

      which was effectively ignored.

      Please consider the attached patch (against 4.6.1). We are a commercially licensed customer.
