QML Video doesn't play on macOS 11.0 with Apple M1 chip

      QML Video element doesn't play or rendering black frames on MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020), macOS 11.0

      1. Compile and start attached sample
      2. Video starts playing with "UNSUPPORTED (log once): POSSIBLE ISSUE: unit 0 GLD_TEXTURE_INDEX_RECTANGLE is unloadable and bound to sampler type (Float) - using zero texture because texture unloadable" error

      Issue manifests for both x86_64 builds running under Rosetta (ie, existing apps built against Qt 5), and native arm64 builds.
