    Description

The behaviour of the Phonon MMF backend when playback is pre-empted by the multimedia adaptation is currently unclear. Some investigation into this needs to be done in order to determine:

      1. What happens when audio or video playback is pre-empted by another, higher-priority audio or video event?
Is the Phonon client informed of the pre-emption, in the best available way? The available notifications are obviously limited by the Phonon API, but usage of the most appropriate available mechanism should be ensured.

      2. Can playback be resumed - at the correct position - once audio / video resources become available?
Since the Phonon API does not allow the client to be notified of resource availability, should the backend simply subscribe for resource notification, and then automatically resume when possible?
