QTest crashes if timeout is hit

If a test run times out for whatever reason qtestlib crashes.

Noticed this reproducible inside Jenkins runs.
On Windows the crash happens for an unhandled exception - usually crashes in https://code.woboq.org/qt5/qtbase/src/corelib/global/qlogging.cpp.html#1882 .
On macOS it even crashes the parent of the script (the Jenkins client)
