Possible to trigger QPushButton click when cursor is outside of the button boundary

XMLWordPrintable

    • macOS

On a Mac, it's possible to trigger a click event when mouse cursor is outside of the button boundaries.  This is problematic with tight layouts where there is another widget nearby - in which cases clicking on area which appears to be part of another widget actually triggers a click in the push button instead.

See attached demo for a demonstration.  Also attaching a demo UI file.
