QFileDialog getOpenFileName ignores "dir" argument

    Description

      Since upgrading to a newer version of Fedora (33) using Gnome 3.38.5 and Wayland or X11, PyQt applications are no longer able to set the initial directory in an open file dialog with "dir". Instead, the home directory is shown.

      This happens with software I develop as well as software by third parties that I use in my day-to-day work.
