      configure -developer-build in a top-level 6.1 branch results in

        The binary directory

  is already used to build a source directory.  It cannot be used to build
  source directory

 

    C:/dev/qt/6.1/src/qt3d/tests/benchmarks

 

  Specify a unique binary directory name.
