wasm: clipboard actions to/from system no longer work

copy and paste from system clipboard to and from the browser worked at sometime in the past.

It no longer is working.

Seems to work on firefox, but not chrome. Whereas I thought it was chrome that used to be working.

Upon further testing of this, it seems that when the Clipboard API is being used, system copy and browser paste does work, but browser copy and system paste does not.
