When using emscripten_sleep() in order to enable the WebAssembly event loop to process while waiting for data it can end up crashing

      When using emscripten_sleep() in order to enable the WebAssembly event loop to process while waiting for data it can end up crashing. Using processEvents() does not help instead as this still prevents the loop from doing what is needed to get the data.
