      Hi!
Font Terminus (nice, bitmap font http://www.is-vn.bg/hamster/ ) on system (linux) with polish locale (pl_PL.UTF-8) is fine (i.e. polish letters are displayed properly http://imagebin.org/91497 ), on system with locale set to en_US.UTF-8 they look like that http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/5863/snapshot3c.png . The settings on both screenshots were the same (96dpi, no AA, no hinting). Problem exist on Opensuse 11.2 with kde4.3.5 (libqt-4.5.3) and Archlinux with kde 4.4.2 qt4.6.2 (at least- that 2 systems i've used recently with english locale)
Fonts in gtk applications (even when used in kde) are fine.
I filled bug on Novell's bugzilla /i though its only opensuse bug, not qt https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=588229
