5.15.5
Description
User informed that after updating from Qt 5.12 to Qt 5.15.5 their crashes in 1 from 10 attempts when searching not paired BLE devices.
Crash occurs in Windows part of Qt's Bluetooth implementation.
BLE Scanner example also crashes with users in 1 of 10 attempts when try to search for devices.
Qt support has tried to get the crash with 5.15.5, prebuilt for MSVC 2019 x64 on Windows 10 but no luck.
User informed:
"
I'm using prebuilt libraries. To reproduce the crash I scan for 3 devices
using a Bluetooth 4.1 stack. When I scan for 1 device the scan process seems
okay, When searching for 3 devices and when changing from 3 to 2 or to 1
advertising device the application was crashing. First all devices are found,
when I repeat scanning with less devices it could be that the app is crashing.
I cannot reproduce the crash with a specific step by step description. It
seems that it is occuring randomized.
The crash occured on 3 PCs using Windows 10 in our dev department. On Android
and IOS the scan process was okay in our app.
"
User also tested lowenergyscanner example with UWP version Qt 5.15.5 (from installer) and it crashed too.
