QPainter::drawRect fills OpenGL window background when pen's alpha != 1.0

The attached modification of the OpenGLWindow example renders a frame around the window with a fully opaque pen (alpha value 255), which works as it should. When pressing the mouse into the window, the pen gets an alpha value of 254. With such a pen, the entire rect gets filled with the pen's color.
