Documentation: building sql drivers following the instructions in the docs fails with "CMake Error: Unknown argument --build"

In the sql driver docs the build instructions for drivers use:

qt-cmake --build .
qt-cmake --install

which doesn't work at all. Both of the commands would fail with cmake unknown argument error.
