QKeySequenceEdit (nor Qt Creator) registers correct Ctrl+Key combinations on macOS

    Description

Running the official Qt Creator version 6.0.0 on macOS 12.0.1 does not register Ctrl+A correctly, nor any other shortcuts (I am referring to the "shortcut recorder" in Preferences.)

E.g. Ctrl+I is mapped to Ctrl+Tab; Ctrl+C is mapped to Ctrl+Return. This does not happen when building Qt Creator 6.0.0 from source (revision 38b2bb9fb2) with Qt 5.14.2.

Installed Qt 6.2.1, and found that a plain widget containing a QKeySequenceEdit reproduces the problem, namely that Ctrl+<Any Key> is mapped improperly on macOS.
