      The new Qt6 Multimedia APIs in QAudioFormat have removed the ability to set a bit depth of 24 bits (bytesPerSample = 3). In turn, this means that you cannot initialize or start a QIODevice that uses 24-bit audio. IMHO 24-bit must be supported.
