Qt Creator 3.0 crashes on startup on Ubuntu running in VirtualBox

I've already installed Qt 5.1.1 on my system and it is running fairly well.

For bug tracking reasons I've now installed additionally the qt-linux-opensource-5.2.0-beta1-android-x86_64-offline.run package.
But the new QtCreator 3.0.0 beta fails to start.
