      this is aimed at helping when using Qt Creator to debug an programmed compiled/run externally to Qt Creator.
      Searching the program in the process list can be tedious. The filter feature is really practical for that. [...]

      It could be nice to add ability to filter on user name. However, it is not possible to attach a process for which you don't have ownership
