Creator deadlocks when switching to Analyze mode on Mac

    Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      • open Creator
      • with or without opening/creating a project switch to Analyze and wait 2 seconds

      Current behavior:

      • mouse cursor turns to busy mode and never gets back to normal
      • no more interaction with Creator possible
      • Creator must be killed and restarted

      Note: e4d800ad4a2b7f29c302f43c0efaa7e592633cc7 did not solve this issue - but starting Creator with 

      QSG_RENDER_LOOP=basic

      set on the commandline solves this issue.
