When editing the AndroidManifest.xml, you have the "minimum" and "target" SDK fields which specify supported devices. But under "Deploy configurations" there is also an "Android target SDK". This last one is actually the build SDK and has nothing to do with supported devices. It also needs to be set >= 13 for the default manifest to compile, so people are running into problem when they think they have to set it to e.g. 10 to target older devices. A few bug reports are coming in due to this.
