I have commitEncoding = utf-8 in my .gitconfig

Entering commit messages with German Umlauts works fine so far.
The "git log" entry is also fine.

Now I start interactive rebase and the commit message is garbled.
The same happens if I fetch from Gerrit and do a git amend.
