Can't delete item after changing values

1. Open a QML file in Design mode.
2. Drag an item into the main Rectangle.
3. Click into any edit of the Properties pane.
4. Press "Delete".
   Nothing happens.
5. Select a different item by clicking into its preview.
6. Select the item from step 2 by clicking into its preview.
7. Press "Delete".
   Nothing happens.
8. Bring a different Window to the front, i.e. enable Firefox by pressing "Alt+Tab".
9. Bring Creator to the front again.
10. Press "Delete".
    The item is being deleted.

When an item is selected, it should always be possible to delete it by pressing "Delete".
