    Description

      Repeat by:

Create a "subprojects" project in QT Creator. Right-click (two-finger click) on the project in the "Projects" view. This brings up the context menu. DO NOT RELEASE THE MOUSE BUTTON. Drag down to "New Subproject" and release.

This sometimes works, bringing up the subproject creation dialog, and it sometimes does not. Whether it works seems to have to do with whether the initial right-click occurred on the selected item in the tree view or on some other item. When it does not work, the selected menu item flashes as expected but no dialog appears. I do not feel that I have been able to track down the precise conditions of failure, but this smells like an event mishandling sort of bug.

I'm also not clear whether this is a QT Creator issue or an issue in the implementation of context menus. I do know that this behavior used to work as expected.
