Description

When running inside a Win7 32 virtual box VM the welcome mode does not work. The mode is switched to but the window never draws. When first starting Qt Creator the underlying windows desktop is shown in the Qt Welcome main area. When switching from another mode, that modes area is shown (but it's just an image, not interactive).

On the same machine
Tested under VMWare with Win7 32 and welcome mode works properly. Works properly on the bare metal. Works properly under a Kubuntu VM using VirtualBox.
