Fonts look worse in 3.0.1 (and 3.0.0) than in 2.8.1

    Description

      Menu fonts and editor fonts look much worse starting from 3.0.0.
      I have both 2.8.1 and 3.0.1 installed. All I do is run one or the other. Editor font antialiasing is set in both versions. Please, take a look at the attached pictures.
      Can this be fixed in future versions of Qt Creator?
      I wonder, it it is due to 3.0.1 being based on Qt5 binaries as opposed to Qt4? Both versions were downloaded as binaries from qt-project.org.
