automatically opening main.cpp (or any other fiile which is considered "central" to the project) would provide an "anchor" - something the project explorer could jump to and (if it was not effectively broken currently; dt is pondering ideas) automatically set as current build and run target.

this has a particular impact when another project is already open, as the user generally does not expect the old project to to stay the active one.
