Gesture scrolling is buggy for navigating the QML profiler timeline

Profile a simple QML app. Go to the time line. Now click in the timeline overview at the bottom. The one that shows the whole timeline zoomed out. Click to move the point selected to be near the end of the app. Now using the touchpad on a MacBook two finger scroll left of right. You can see instead of scrolling from where you are it jumps the selected point somewhere near the very start of the timeline.
