      1. Create a new Qt Quick Application project.
      2. Open its QML file in Design mode.
      3. Select the Text item.
      4. In the Properties view, click into the edit control for the "Text Color".
      5. Move the cursor to the right.
        You'll see that the edit contains two pointless blank spaces at the end:

      This edit should contain the number code only.
