Diff Editor issues

      It seems the new Diff editor (textual representation) introduces some hickups to some workflows:

      • It is no longer editable. That is, one can no longer edit .patch/.rej files.
      • Tools/Codepasting/Paste Snippet no longer pastes the contents of it.
      • When doing git show, the upper area showing the change commit msg is too narrow, one can no longer fully read it
      • 'save as' is disabled
