Unable to use the 'Find files in project' keyboard shortcut for C++ projects

After I installed QtCreator v3.2.0 several days ago, I almost immediately noticed a strange bug with the Locator functionality: whenever I execute my keyboard shortcut for 'Find files in project', QtCreator becomes unresponsive and hangs indefinitely. However, if I click in the Locator's search field and type in, everything works fine. Also, using the 'Locate' keyboard shortcut + 'p' is a possible workaround.
Locating files within a project using a keyboard shortcut is a feature I use all of the time and working around it is a little frustrating. Not to mention that this slows me down a lot.
I'd very much appreciate it if you could recommend a solution to this issue if such exists, or at least take the bug into consideration and fix it for the next release.
